Welcome to ‘Moonrise Kingdom’, our newest fashion story in the Fall Flight saga. Artistic vision of photographer Mariana Garcia and Art Director Rik Bracho, the series is a compilation of dark and brooding studio portraits; featuring exotic stunner Cristina Piccone. All new talents to The Libertine, this great team managed to strike a perfect pitch between thought and feeling, logic and emotion, head and heart…a balanced blend of captivating compilation and enigmatic energy. Beauty proSandra Bracho-Hyland smoothed the finishing touches onto the story with finesse, and clean grooming accents. There is something about the doe eyes and dewy lashes, in that ethereal light…something majestic. Enjoy!
From within the shadows of a dusky room, a ray of light traces the cool silhouette of a feminine form. The gleam reverberates against supple silks and satins, further illuminating a palette of deep, rich hues and contrasts. The series, entitled ‘Close’, was brilliantly executed by past Libertine contributor Emanuele Cassina. This sensuous editorial focalizes on bare bronzed skin and the exquisite intricacy of the female body. As an Italian artist, Emanuele has an idyllic regard for the sacred nature of sensuality. For this series, she cast breath-taking muse Giuvi Palazzi to portray a diverse landscape of nude skin and shifting shapes. From beginning to end, this editorial makes good on the promise of it’s title….leaving the reader with bated breath, even after the last image. Enjoy!
Coming to you from the expert lens of photographer David Cohen De Lara, ’Dusk Sparrow’ is a hauntingly morose editorial featuring the incomparably stunning Melatti Scheffer. As the most recent addition to our Fall Flight series, this story combines simplicity and grace, with tangible textures and natural lighting in a way that transports the reader inside the energetic plane of each image. Melatti’s aesthetic positively takes your breath away with every cast of her gaze, curl of a smile and soft, striking silhouette. Selecting this editorial for our collection didn’t require a second thought. The Libertine is pleased to share another memorable piece with your from this innovating team. Enjoy!
Hypnotizing beauties Ugnė Sabalytė and Amalie Loendal tear it up in some very creative denim ensembles, created by Stylist Waina Chancy for our latest editorial ‘Still Torn Up About It’. The story is a smokin’ combination of classic and edgy. That balance can be very hard to strike, but the lens master, Tawfick Espriella, managed to manifest quite an visually pleasing reality! The clean studio environment is a flattering palette for these two youthful beauties to shine. Their warm skin glows against the bright white and brilliant blues. Makeup artist Lauren Massaro worked with the girls to craft care free grooming that communicates ‘natural stunner’ with effortless purity! The Libertine has the pleasure of releasing this fierce series as one of the last few in our fabulous Fall Flight series. The story was both shot on film and captured digitally, and thus, will be releases in a two part series. Distinct and ingenius, both…Enjoy!
Striking, androgynous model Courtney McCullough emanates aloof appeal for the discerning lens of Libertine veteran Cameron Davis. This moody portraiture combines subtle styling and minimalist wardrobe with the artistic vision of art director Charlie Black to actualize ‘Tomboy Ballad’; the latest addition to our Fall Flight series. Cameron has an eye for evocative imagery and unpretentious expression. Preferring to air on the edgier side of fashion, Cameron’s images skimp on ‘pretty’, to pack a more powerful punch. He has found a true creative complement in Courtney; whose hypnotic gaze presents more than enough intrigue to capture the readers’ curiosity…and keep it. Enjoy!
The Libertine brings you an amazing new story with sky-rocketing young face, Vita Sidorkina! This editorial, ‘Tripping The Light Fantastic’, is the brain child of revolutionary fashion photographer Kailas; who is a new talent on our radar, and one that we are absolutely thrilled to endorse. Focusing on light and color manipulation, the images frame Vita as a mercurial siren, exploring the tactile world of the senses and her capacity for pleasure. Becoming the muse was a breeze for Vita with the help of beauty artist Jourdan Dudgeon. The reader is invited on a journey with this dynamic team, through the imagination and into the experiential surreal. Enjoy!
Visionary photographer Craig Stuart Eisenberg returns to The Libertine with a modern new story, starring stand-out faceChebo as the focus of the installation. The editorial, entitled ‘BLKOUT’ explores an analytical perspective on the human body as a living representation of artistic expression. The unadorned set fades into the distance as the charismatic Chebo creates futuristic configurations with her dazzlingly reflective props. Dusty shadows and bright energy, this beautiful series (that could easily appear in a book of Craig’s work one day) is an fascinating head turner. Enjoy!
Photographer Kyle Deleu (assisted by Sharon Zobali) returns to The Libertine with another smokin’ exclusive. ‘We’ll Never Be Royals’ is a youthfully rebellious editorial, featuring fierce new face Britt Linn Vee. The looks were composed and styled by Nandi K. to complement the rock-and-roll grooming looks created by artist Pam Vanika. This series encourages experimentation with fashion as a mode of self expression. Britt takes no prisoners and makes no apologies, in this edgy new mix for our Fall Flight series. This season, it’s going to be all about making a statement…so dare to bare, or dare to tare…just DARE! Enjoy!
This exquisite editorial, ‘Forgotten Ancestors’, was composed exclusively for The Libertine, as a collaboration between visionary photographer Dusan Jaukovic and couture designer Jelena Malesevic (for her personal line: Morfium Couture). The shots are purely transcendental, and model Li Xiao Xing becomes every bit the beautiful embodiment of the designs. Bold and alluring designs complement Li’s finely sculpted features and the natural beauty of one of the longest enduring sanctuaries inhabited by the Lenape people before colonization. There is a subtle mysticism to the surroundings, that is echoed in both Jelena’s creations and Li’s powerful aura. Though this story is both light and fresh, reminiscent of the longer days of summer, it felt like a perfect balancing element for our fall flight series. Not to mention, that the images are breath-taking. Enjoy!
As the temperatures and the leaves begin to chart their annual fall, The Libertine turns its focus towards the melancholy harmonies of autumn’s slow senescence, with our latest editorial ‘Equinox’. The story, creation of Russian artist Evgeniya Boyarskaya (a new contributor to our Fall Flight series) features dramatic beauty Arne in minimalist wardrobe choices, styled by the photographer and model themselves. Evgeniya capitalizes on her model’s striking beauty as an energetic field to play up the dramatic contrasts of the season. The story is simple….and memorable alike. One can’t help but linger over the face of each image; the body, the light, the polarity…it was and easy choice to add to our incredible collection of booming talents. Enjoy!
