A post by the bloggers at Fashion Gone Rogue reminded me of the HUGE file I have on French stunner Laetitia Casta. She is the epitome of womanly beauty…right up there with Crystal Renn and other international, curvy, supermodels. I’m not suggesting that she is plus sized (actually she still walks runways as a sample sized model), just that she was blessed with the perfect proportions of a developed woman, rather than an awkward teen. She did a (several year) stint as the face of Victoria’s Secret and Guess, then took a well deserved break from the American fashion scene. Over the last few years she has once again begun to grace the covers of top fashion magazines; such as “Elle”, “Vogue”, “Mademoiselle”, “Cosmopolitan”, and “Glamour”. I won’t even try to count the number of times she has starred in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues… The point is, this Femme Fatal is desired by men and envied by women world-wide. Here is a collection of some of my favorites throughout her illustrious career. Enjoy!
And FYI…This is here baby sister: Marie Ange Casta
Could they look anymore ALIKE!?!?! Freaky huh!?
Oh yet another reason that I freakin’ love Elle Magazine…This shoot. I sold my soul to the big city like so many young hopefuls. I plunked down all my savings for a tiny haven on first ave. and 10th. I ground my fingers to the bones working about 12 jobs at a time…and I loved every stinking moment of it. I have since followed other pursuits to different lands, but I always look fondly on my time spent chewing my way through the big apple! In addition to this editorial being shot in my heartland, this sweet lil’ model is a long time favorite of mine ( and the Diane Von Furstenberg taxi, spiffy specs, and long johns really just top it all off)! I hope you are as overjoyed by these shots as I was!
