EXCLUSIVE | ‘Plain Air’ | Francesca Pisano By Adolfo Valente For The Libertine | August 2012

Nothing is as fresh as a woman’s unadorned sensuality, and that’s the essence of this dreamy editorial: ‘Plain Air’. Bathed in natural light and soft, billowing fabrics model Francesca Pisano bares her vulnerable side for the lens of photographer Adolfo Valente. Reminiscent of the hazy photography of the legendary David Hamilton, the editorial sweetly seduces with it’s golden light and twinkling scapes. Enjoy!

‘Tender Is Life’ | Annemara Post By Karel Balas For MilK Magazine #36 | June 2012

“In the high season of weddings, MilK wanted to celebrate the magical moments of family gatherings; where you dream that time is suspended. Inspired by the delicate jewelry line, Piaget Rose, we composed a wardrobe embodying summer qualities such as light airiness, and gauzy silhouettes. The colors of the dresses are sweetly reminiscent of  precious stones in a whirlwind of soft nude and beige colors, faded and lit from within in golden light. Time stops to contemplate the sheer beauty; adorned by precious talismans.”

David Hamilton Demoiselles

Long famed as a controversial figure in the photography community…David Hamilton is the master of the soft focus. His images capture the subtle sensuality of women in their everyday lives. While some of his work may push the envelope according to fashion standards of the 1990’s, today their racy-ness pales in comparison to the bodies of work of, say Tom Ford or Terry Richardson. I think you all know how I feel about nudity (whatever ya got…shake whatcha got) but however you may feel about these, they have greatly influenced modern fashion expression, and are certainly art in their own right…Enjoy!!!

” a distinction must be
made between eroticism
and pornography; the media
have blurred the disparity to
an unforgivable degree…”
