Lusty Laetitia

A post by the bloggers at Fashion Gone Rogue reminded me of the HUGE file I have on French stunner Laetitia Casta. She is the epitome of womanly beauty…right up there with Crystal Renn and other international, curvy, supermodels. I’m not suggesting that she is plus sized (actually she still walks runways as a sample sized model), just that she was blessed with the perfect proportions of a developed woman, rather than an awkward teen. She did a (several year) stint as the face of Victoria’s Secret and Guess, then took a well deserved break from the American fashion scene. Over the last few years she has once again begun to grace the covers of top fashion magazines; such as “Elle”, “Vogue”, “Mademoiselle”, “Cosmopolitan”, and “Glamour”. I won’t even try to count the number of times she has starred in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues… The point is, this Femme Fatal is desired by men and envied by women world-wide. Here is a collection of some of my favorites throughout her illustrious career. Enjoy!

And FYI…This is here baby sister: Marie Ange Casta

Could they look anymore ALIKE!?!?! Freaky huh!?

The Transsiberian Express

As the great Golden Eagle winds its way around the infinite ribbon of steel between Moscow and Vladivostok, a syrupy jazz ballad floats across billows of smoke and laughter. Passengers draped over silken and velvet covered benches sip aperitifs while sharing detailed accountings of  nights at Le’ Ange Rouge and long languorous summers in Martinique. As the sun begins to sink below the Urals, the dining car fills with the evening hustle and bustle of guests in decadent attire, gazing through crystalline windows, out upon the vast sanguine expanse…preparing to engage in a bit of vagabond romance, or a harmless round of poker…

Tender Chance

Or as it’s publicly known: ‘Chance Eau Tendre’

The ad campaign for Chance Eau Tendre was created by the unparalleled genius of french photographer (among many other titles) Jean-Paul Goude. The face and body of the campaign is none other than french sweetheart-model Sigrid Agren. The advertisements feature her wrapped around the flacon of perfume, adorned by a blooming garland of flowers. I greatly prefer this version of the campaign to the earlier version of Chanel Chance from 2003. It’s just so darn pretty, it’s hard to resist!

It’s Raining Men

I used to do a lot more of these posts that I do currently…I have just gotten so absorbed in women’s fashion lately that I forget from time to time that the same amazing photographers are out there creating stunning editorials and images of beautiful men as well! I took a few days last week to scour around and pull together a collection of some of my favorite images from the most recent editorials of men’s fashion. Here is a hodgepodge of alluring images, gorgeous textiles and just plain stunning men. Enjoy!

This post is an ode to growing up in the country with my sister. The animals, the wood chopping, the voyages through the forest to the creek….Ohhhh, the romance of it all!
